the proposed negotiation of treaties with the chiefs of
the Perim or
Pehla Islands
And I am to state that his
Lordship has not sufficient
information to give a decided Answer to Lord Decaisne's question
as to the interests of British Trade: in that region; but he
has confidence in the
subject being addressed to the Government of the Straits Colonies. For R.t.
